All a Dream? [Thoughts]

Finally got to play some more today, although the power went out at one point. I didn't lose very much data thankfully. Only a fight with a Mandragora, I think.

Anyways, today I found out something very interesting about the game's plotline-

Zanarkand and all its people are a dream.

A dream of the survivors of the war with Bevelle (who transformed into Fayth in order to preserve happy memories of Zanarkand and its inhabitants) that will crumble the moment those survivors stop dreaming.

Zanarkand and ALL its people; that means Tidus too is only a part of the dream. Since I didn't get far enough for this to be fully explained, I'm assuming that's how Tidus made it so far into the future: because he was only a dream. An illusion.

Similar to the way Auron and Seymour are unsent, Tidus is only a solidified memory of one of the Fayth. Although it is revealed that he and Jecht, through interaction with Spira and its people, have become more then just dreams.

Even more daunting is the admittence of faitigue from the Fayth that takes the form of a small child; he tells Tidus (while aforementioned blond is out cold, dreaming) that he and the other Fayth are tired from holding the illusion of Zanarkand and long for a rest. Of course this would mean that Zanarkand would return to its post-war status; a rotting, deserted city.

I'm very interested to see where this is going. Could this tie into how Tidus and Rikku plan to save Yuna from a Summoner's unfortunate fate?
