Zanarkand's Trials [Thoughts]

A lot of things have happened:
We learn that Lady Yunalesca is actually still alive (as alive as an unsent can be, at least) and that she guards the ruins of Zanarkand, keeping unworthy Summoners out.
We get a glimpse into Seymour's past. I actually feel kind of bad for calling him all those names during his boss battles now...
We face Zanarkand's Trials!! Or so I assume they're called based on what the younger, flashback version Auron said. They were pretty challenging; you had to figure out which buttons on the floor activated which lights and activate all the correct lights at the same time.
Wait, I'm making it sound harder then it was. But you had to keep taking out the Kilika Sphere, and turning off the lights in the process. It was hard to see at some points.
I'm prepping for the boss that awaits me at the end of the Trials, but I can't bring myself to do it. I'm getting so close to the end of the game now, and it makes me sad. I have all my Aeons and characters up to Overdrive, so I could take on the boss whenever I want. I think I'll just wait a little bit... So I'll just play Skyward Sword instead to try and make myself feel better.
Also! I found out how to defeat a Dark Flan!! It should have been obvious, but I'm pretty dense, ha. Anyway, you use Auron's Skill attacks to lower his Magic Defense/Defense and then just fire some spells at him/whack away at him. A lot quicker then I thought. You can also cast Reflect on him to help with when he tries to heal himself with White Wind, if you want. It'll heal your character(s) instead!!
