To Zanarkand [Thoughts]

After finishing Mt. Gagazet, everything started getting really... somber. Not that a majority of the game wasn't somber on its own, but now, the thought of losing the characters I've forged bonds with hurts me a lot more then it would have at the beginning of the game.

Finding Yuna's sphere was the straw the broke the camel's back. After that point I just got kind of teary-eyed and went into a daze where I wasn't really comprehending what was going on on the screen in front of me.

To Zanarkand and the scene from the game's opening were playing, and then it switched over to Tidus trying to lighten the mood and Yuna hesitantly stopping him.

Man... this game was so well done. I can really feel the huge threat of death looming over the party. It really aged well and is still emotionally and aestetically pleasing even now, fifteen years later.
